About Our Farm

About Our Farm.JPG

Our farm is located just 1km from the family butcher shop. It is a second generation farm which Myles took over from his father Eugene in 1994. He has since increased the farm size from 80 acres to 150 acres. After working as a butcher for 19 years Myles decided it was time for him to bring his own farm produce to market in the village of Dunlavin.

With the help of his son Mark, Myles runs the farm to produce the highest quality beef and lamb on a grass based diet. We run our Bord Bia quality assured farm, adhering to the highest environmental standards, with little in the way of artificial fertilisers or sprays. The farm is stocked in a low density manner to guarantee the best welfare standards as we believe Happy Animals produce the best quality meat.

Our ‘field to fork approach’ allows us to have a hands on approach in every stage of production and leads us to believe that our product is of premium quality. As we are the primary producers it enables us to offer this premium product to our customers at a reasonable price.
